Floating Handle Teapot

Floating back handled teapot. Brown stoneware with a sanded clay exterior and a yellow/brown microcrystalline glaze interior. 

This piece has a raw, unglazed exterior - sanded after firing for a textured matte finish. The clay body is fully vitrified stoneware, dense and non-porous. The interior is fully glazed.

Capacity: 200ml - Measured to top of filter. Approximate, as each piece is hand thrown and varies slightly.

Dimensions: 2.3"H x 5.7"W - Dimensions are of teapot body + lid and are approximate 

Thrown, formed, and assembled by hand in my studio. Expect slight variation in glaze and form from piece to piece - this is intentional, it's what makes each one its own object. The piece you receive may differ subtly from what's pictured.

Care: I recommend hand washing my work - it increases the longevity of the piece and reduces the likelihood of chipping the crisp angular edges. This is the most sculptural design I make, as such, the cantilevered handle is unlikely to survive drops/impacts. Use with care.
